For this project, I designed an interactive website template which aimed at improving high-end restaurants’ online presence.

I designed and developed an interactive, visually appealing restaurant website using Wix, tailored as a reusable template for fine-dining venues. This project gave me the opportunity to address a real-world design challenge with a solution that balanced creativity and practicality.

The Design Process

The main problem I noticed was that restaurants usually lack accessible, user-friendly, and visually appealing websites in the fine dining industry. Additionally, I wanted to focus on including important information like allergens, ingredients, and high quality visuals that in this day and age, modern customers expect.

My target audience included restaurant owners and managers of high end dining establishments seeking to enhance customer experience and attract new diners through better digital design. To understand their needs, I conducted an audience analysis which focused on user expectations, accessibility standards, and common industry gaps in digital marketing.

To visualize my ideas a bit better I created an improved restaurant website wireframe on Figma that had key features like:

Clear navigation and menu structure
Ingredient and allergen transparency
High-contrast color scheme (gold, dark green, black, and white) for accessibility
Rich photography and visual storytelling

Afterwards, I built a functional, aesthetically pleasing, and interactive restaurant website in Wix that can be a reusable template for fine-dining establishments. This project allowed me to solve a real-world design problem with a practical, yet creative solution.
