calgary sports network
My client for this prototype was the Calgary Sports Network, and I adhered to their requirements for the website. For this assignment, the homepage and two other pages were needed, the rest are incomplete. Also, I needed to make sure the site was accessible and user friendly.
Beginning
Before beginning on the actual website, I first began by writing up a project proposal, citing the timeline and materials needed to complete this project for the imaginary client. In addition, I created a mood board on Mural to get inspiration for the visual aspects.
I created some wireframes on paper, then online through Figma. This step helped me understand the dimensions of the elements on a website, and how they work together.
Final Website
Throughout the process of designing the website, I realized that having a higher contrast of colors, as well as less variety of color would help my images stand out and be better for accessibility. Having a clear hierarchy was important to me because it meant that there would be easier readability on the website.
